One Pot Clam Bake

Impress your guests with this easy and convenient meal.  The combination of seafood will pair beautifully with some delicious bread and a Rodney Strong Sonoma Chardonnay.


  • ½ cup white wine
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 lbs. collard greens or kale
  • 8 small potatoes, scrubbed
  • 8 small onions, skinned
  • 8 half ears of corn
  • 6 live lobsters or lobster tails
  • 50 littleneck clams
  • 2 lbs. mussels
  • Melted Harris Teeter butter
  • Lemon wedges


  1. Put wine and greens in the bottom of large stockpot. Lay potatoes and onions on top. Cover tightly and steam for 15 minutes.
  2. If additional water is needed, add more at this time. Add corn, lobster and clams to pot and steam for 10 more minutes.
  3. Add mussels, steam until all the clams and mussels are open.
  4. Remove, discard greens, and enjoy!
